Article 1: The name of this organization shall be The Order of Antiquarian Druids.

1.2: This original founding grove may charter subordinate groves of The Order of Antiquarian Druids. No other grove possesses the authority to charter groves of The Order of Antiquarian Druids.

Article 2: The meetings of the organization may be in person or other means such as video calls, and the like. Two members present constitute a quorum.

Article 3: The organization should meet on or about the first day of Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter at a time suitable for the majority of officers. There must be at a minimum of two meetings per year.

Article 4: The elected and appointed officers of this organization serve for one year or until their successor has been installed.

4.2: Elections are decided by a vote of the majority of members present.

Article 5: The elected officers shall be: Arch Druid, Chancellor and Registrar.

5.2: The Arch Druid presides at meetings and may appoint officers and committees.

5.3: The Chancellor may preside in the absence of the Arch Druid.

5.4: The Registrar may preside in the absence of the Arch Druid and serves as the principle record keeper of the organization.

5.5: Minutes of meetings may be taken by any of the three elected officers as needed. See 5.4 above.

Article 6: The appointed officers of this organization shall be: Sojourner, Master of Ceremonies and Grove Herald. Appointed officers serve at the pleasure of the Arch Druid.

Article 7: There shall be no fees for membership.

7.2: Petitioners for membership may apply in writing by providing their full name, date of petition, contact information and why they wish to join.

7.3: A unanimous ballot elects petitioners to membership.

7.4: A member may be stripped of membership by a unanimous vote at a regular meeting. The accused has a right to due process.

Article 8: All members in good standing have the appellation of Fellow and have one vote each.

Article 9: Members may choose to terminate their membership by providing their resignation in writing to the Chancellor.

Article 10: Bylaws can be changed by a simple majority vote after members have been given a 30 days notice.

Notes: Given #1 on May 20, 1818. A duplicate charter was given on October 17, 1864, and the old charter was destroyed. Notes: Given #2 on May 20, 1818. Old charter lost and a duplicate issued on October 20, 1951. Also moved to a new hall at Old Masons’ Home. Jeffersontown #189 consolidated with Shelbyville #2 on September 12, 1975. LaGrange #102 consolidated with Shelbyville #2 on June 26, 1997. In 2020 Shelby #2 consolidated into Frankfort #3. Shelbyville #2 is the home chapter of PGHP James Moore, John Willett, James Bullock & Thomas Todd.

Notes: Given #3 on May 20, 1818. Duplicate charter issued on October 17, 1865; old charter burned. Webb #6 merged with #3 in October 1988. In 2020 Shelby #2 consolidated into Frankfort #3. Frankfort #3 is the home chapter of PGHP Robert Johnson, Henry Wingate, Warham Lomis, George A. Lewis, & Noble S. McDougal.

Notes: Began as Danville Chapter #4. No return from #4 was submitted in 1831 and was summoned to appear at the next convocation and show cause as to why they sent no return. On Tuesday, September 4, 1832, the committee on returns made a report that #4 had not submitted their returns nor obeyed a summons sent to them at last convocation. Thus, the said committee recommended that the charter of #4 be suspended. Name and number change from Franklin #22 to Danville #4 with a duplicate charter issued on October 16, 1940. The name was changed again in 1995 to WR Selby Sr. Then, Lancaster #56 consolidated into #4 on September 11, 1997. Daviess #29 consolidated in Selby #4 on July 9, 2020. #4 is the home chapter of PGHP Allen E. Bell, Philip Jasper, Mack Wollum, WR Selby Sr., James H. King Jr., Thomas E. Bustle, Ron Ledford & George Ralph Arnold.

Notes: On October 15, 1857, a duplicate charter was issued. Another duplicate charter was issued on October 17, 1865, both duplicates were due to fire. King Solomon #18 merged with Louisville #5 in 1890. In 1890 was given a name change to King Solomon. As of October 1896, it is King Solomon #5. Parkland #173 consolidated with King Solomon #5 on February 24, 1941. Highland #150 consolidated with King Solomon #5 on February 16, 1972. On May 20, 2026, Iroquois Chapter #193 consolidated into King Solomon #5. Louisville #5 is the home chapter of PGHP Thomas McClanahan, Levi Tyler, Nathaniel Hardy, Willis Stewart, W.E. Robinson, Harry Hudson, R.G. Hawkins, William Ryan, Charles E. Dunn, Hal T. Jefferson, David W. Gray, Isaac T. Woodson, Frank A. Rople, DP Jones, Roy Lee Montfort, Ronnie Skipper & John A. Johnson.
